The Generalissimo is Dead!

Terrible news comrades! The Generalissimo is Dead!

This is the announcement of our inaugural Magagame at ACTMG.
We are in co-production with Sydney Megagamers, who are spear heading the game and we're being hosted by our friends over at the ANU Boardgames Society to bring our third run of the game to Australia.

TGiD is a game for around 37 players that follows the bureaucracy of the People's Republic of Yugenya, in the direct wake of the death of their glorious leader, The Generalissimo. Players will take on roles ranging from departmental heads in industries like trade and health, the Central Committee, who are given the unfortunate task of dealing with the fall out, all the way through foreign agents with alternate agendas, and the country's shadowy "Internal Security" bureau. Who will come out on top? Well that's yet to be written. All we know is that Yugenya is forever and everything is still fine...

If you have seen the 2018 film "The Death of Stalin," you'll have a good idea of what to expect from the player experience. In one word? Chaos.
But we can do you one better! At our second run of TGiD, up in Sydney, we had our videographer extraordinaire Genji follow along with one of the teams for the day, to tell their story. You can watch it right now on YouTube.

And, don't be too afraid of spoilers if you're coming along on the day. Every Megagame ends differently and we're making some...changes... that are bound to surprise.
